Is a ducted vacuum system a good option for people with allergies or asthma?

Yes. High quality ducted vacuum systems are designed to remove 100 per cent of dust, bacteria and allergen particles from a room. A normal vacuum cleaner simply can’t do this. By installing a ducted vacuum system, you can greatly improve the symptoms of allergies or asthma.

How often do I need to change a ducted vacuum cleaner bag?

This depends on the type of system, the size of the house and the frequency of vacuuming.  On average, one bag should last around 6 months.

Can The Ducted Vacuum Centre service my ducted vacuum system?

Absolutely! The Ducted Vacuum Centre has strong technical knowledge of ducted vacuum systems and 40 years’ experience in servicing.  We can either repair on-site or in our fully-equipped workshop.

How expensive are ducted vacuum systems?

There is a misconception that ducted vacuum systems are a very expensive  'luxury item'.  This is simply not the case.  The  price is comparable to good quality portable vacuum cleaners, and the good news is that they last a lot longer.

Do blockages occur often?

Blockages occur infrequently because of the large size of the hose in a ducted vacuum system. When they do occur, it is normally small objects that get lodged in the nozzle or handle. These can be easily fixed and removed by a homeowner (no specialist skills required).

The Ducted Vacuum Centre is just a phone call away should you need any help or direction.

How much stronger are ducted vacuum systems compared to portable vacuums?

A lot!  The motors of a ducted vacuum system are more robust as they are not designed to be portable.  The end result is a stronger, longer lasting system that requires only minimal repairs and servicing.
